Budget Accommodation

Public Transport from Accommodation to Venue
Public transport is easily accessible from all selected accommodation venues to the Monash University Caulfield Campus. From the CBD hotels the Adelphi Hotel, Stamford Plaza and Travelodge it is a fifteen minute train ride to the Caulfiend Train Station on the Cranbourne, Frankston or Pakenham train lines from Flinders St Station. It is a short walk from the Caulfield train station to Monash University . The East Malvern-Melbourne University tram has a stop at the front of the Monash University Caulfield Campus and takes approximately 30-35 minutes travel time from the city centre.
The Hotel Claremont in South Yarra is a 10 minute train ride on the Cranbourne, Frankston, Pakenham and Sandringham train lines from the South Yarra train station.

Accommodation Deposit
A deposit of one night's tariff per room is required to secure a room booking and must accompany the registration form. Accommodation bookings can only be accepted if accompanied by a deposit. Delegates must settle the balance of their account on checkout.
Change of Booking
Any change to a reservation must be notified in writing to the Conference Office, and not directly to the Hotel.
Hotel Cancellations and Refunds
Notification of cancellation must be received in writing thirty days prior to booking commencement date, otherwise the accommodation deposit will be forfeited in all instances. This is a condition set by all hotels on conference group bookings.
Check In/Out Times
The standard check in time at hotels is 2.00pm onwards. If a room is required prior to this time, the Conference Office should be advised. Hotels may otherwise charge an additional day's fee. The standard check out time at hotels is 10.00am.
Travel information
Travel to and from Melbourne Airport
By Taxi: A taxi from Melbourne airport to the conference venue will cost between AUD $35 - $50 and takes 30-45 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
By Bus: The Skybus provides an economical way to and from Melbourne Airport and Spencer Street Station. Skybus operates services to and from the city every 15 minutes between 6am and 9pm, and on the hour at other times. The current cost is AUD$13 per adult (one-way). By Limousine: The typical minimum charge from Melbourne Airport to the Crown Entertainment Complex is AUD $52.
Passport/Visa Requirements
A valid passport or certificate of identification is required for entry into Australia. All persons not holding an Australian or New Zealand passport also require a visa. The Australian Visitor Visa may be obtained by mail or in person from the nearest Australian High Commission, Embassy or Consulate. In some countries, travel agents can issue this visa. Travellers may be issued with either a visa in their passport or an electronic visa, depending on the country of origin and the passport/nationality of the traveller. It is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure that they hold the required documentation before arriving in Australia .

Insurances
Registration fees do not include personal travel or health insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that when registering for the Conference and booking travel that travel and health insurance policies be taken out. The Organising Committee and the Conference Office do not take responsibility for any delegate failing to insure. In addition, delegates are encouraged to investigate the possibility of taking out insurance cover for the Conference registration fee in the event that you are unable to attend after the cancellation date.
Air Travel within Australia
Corporate Travel Management (CTM) has been appointed the official travel agency for the Conference. Delegates may prefer to take advantage of the best Internet of published airfares. However, they do have conditions attached. Most are non-refundable if cancelled.
